Staying in a BT12 holiday cottage can be a perfect way to take a break as you can forget about household chores and focus on having fun, or a relaxing break. Pet-friendly cottages in BT12 are on the rise however we do recommend that you ask in advance - unless it's stated on the booking details. Our great value holiday cottages to rent in BT12 are sometimes available for rent for a weekend, week, fortnight, two weeks or even longer.

BT12 Accomodation

Benefits of staying in a county cottage include being able to jump out of the front door and take part in outdoor pursuits from walking to horse riding, and from fishing to paddling. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in BT12 regardless of the time of year.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

Holiday Cottages

As a reminder, we do not actually take the cottage bookings, we simply connect your with the agencies or owners. It is of course possible that you need to cancel your BT12 holiday cottage so ensure you read the cancellation terms on the agency or owners website / contract.

Although you may not be familiar with the BT12 area you'll usually find that the owners have left a welcome manual with details of local places to eat, drink and buy supplies. BT12 cottages range in size and price, but based on our knowledge of the cottage agencies and owners, all should be good quality.

Some properties will ask for a security deposit before your arrival date - although this is required in a minority of accommodation and you will be advised at time of booking.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in BT12. No worrying about getting to the dining room in time, either before the hotel declares that breakfast is over, or trying to fit in with other b and b guests.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! A large number of our visitors like to use their stay as an opportunity to just put their feet up, gaze at the scenery, take an afternoon nap, and enjoy a nice home cooked meal. Just taking it easy in BT12.

On the other hand, there's a growing proportion of visitors who use their time away from home to get fitter and try new things - such as mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing.
