Many holiday cottages to discover!

To make the best of your trip in BR7, we recommend you bring some essential items. Rainproof clothing and a light umbrella should be the first things to pack. The rain only comes when you are not prepared.

If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. There are obviously local stores that can supply you with all the food you need, but we always like to arrive with coffee, tea bags, a pint of milk, a bar of chocolate and some bread and butter for the toaster - it's good to get the energy up after a long journey. Many people have favourite places they return to again and again, whereas we like to find new places to stay.

BR7 Accomodation

Benefits of staying in a county cottage include being able to jump out of the front door and take part in outdoor pursuits from walking to horse riding, and from fishing to paddling. Trusting the sun to shine every day is rather optimistic in BR7 regardless of the time of year.

We live in a country where we're no stranger to rain and preparing for the inevitable downpour is always a good idea. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

Holiday Cottages

Whether you're going away with friends or family to BR7, you'll want to consider the type of accommodation you book. Are you looking for a quaint old stone cottage in BR7 with an open fire - or something a little more child friendly with nice warm carpets and central heating?

Dog owners often like to spend their holidays in the UK so that they can take their four legged friends with them. If the description of the BR7 cottage does not indicate that its pet friendly, please contact the owner before confirming the booking.

Enjoy your holiday, we're syure you deserve it. The world moves so very fast and it's great to take a break.

Families, Friends and More

Families love cottage holidays because they can run to their own schedule, managing everyone's unique needs in the privacy of a comfortable home. When you're so focused on the final destination, its easy to forget to pack some of the basics, so here are a few tips.

Although its not to all parents' tastes, you can buy very cheap in-car DVD players to amuse the kids, and they can often be plugged into the standard power sockets when you arrive. A long car journey can turn the most engaged children into bored zombies, so take some snacks and have a few games ready to play.

Clothes for the full range of weather; just because you don't think that it looks good outside in the rain it doesn't mean that the little ones will agree.
