Your chosen cottage should be clean and tidy on arrival, and if it is not you should inform the owner or agency immediately so that they can sort it out swiftly. Always check with the Ayr cottage owner before you take pets - although many are pet friendly. We can help if you're looking for a holiday cottage or other accommodation in Ayr to stay in with your family for a week or two or somewhere in Ayr to stay with friends over a long weekend.

Ayr Accomodation

Besides the facilities within the Ayr cottages, our guests have been known to talk long walks, go horse riding and even more adventurous activities such as climbing. Banking on non-stop sunny South Ayrshire weather, however, can be a little short-sighted.

When the weather takes a turn for the worse its a great time to stay indoors and play some classic family games. Cottage owners sometimes leave a few distractions around the property, such as local magazines or guidebooks.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

All the booking agents we work with have good customer service teams, so please contact them if you have additional questions or encounter any problems. Should you need to cancel your accommodation, again we ask you to contact the agent or owner since we cannot talk to them on your behalf.

Owners with often leave instructions on how to use the appliances in the property, as well as some suggestions on the nearest shop to buy a pint of milk etc. If you're travelling from a long way, you may not know much about Ayr so we suggest a little research in advance to find the best attractions.

We hope you have a really enjoyable holiday in Ayr and remember us next year when it comes to finding the next great South Ayrshire cottage.

Families, Friends and More

We think that self-catering is the best way to holiday in Ayr. You take away some of the pressure that appears when staying in a hotel or b and b - you must eat your meals at this time, you must order from this menu.

You can decide what food and drink you want to consume, and you can choose when to sit down and eat it... or even stand up and eat it! Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in Ayr.

But you may want to get out and burn some energy on bikes, climb a hill or mountain, or even try canoeing. Whatever you choose, please take the right clothing and equipment with you.
