We love cottage holidays and Argyll and Bute has some really great destinations and properties to rent, for families or groups of friends. When the weather takes a turn for the worse its a great time to stay indoors and play some classic family games. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue. Or just ignore the rain and get on with whatever you had initially planned and be determined that a little water will not spoil the day.
