Many holiday cottages to discover!

Whatever time you go to AA_blog_blinds, we'd like to suggest some things to take to improve your stay. Preparing for a little rain is always a good plan. An umbrella and an anorak or rain coat can get everyone smiling even on the worse days.

If you have a DVD player in the cottage, definitely take a few great movies. It's so enjoyable to curl up in the evening and watch a classic film. And then we always make sure we have good supplies with us when we arrive so that we can sit down and have a cup of coffee and perhaps a piece of cake before we start that boring unpacking! We find it really hard to decide which type of cottage we like best. Generally we just enjoy going away!

AA_blog_blinds Accomodation

Wherever you stay in AA_blog_blinds there's usually a good range of fun to be had outdoors - from the most energetic sports to the most relaxing pastimes. Great weather can never be guaranteed for every day, and there's obviously a chance of a downpour.

If the rainclouds arrive it may be a good idea to stay inside and get out a pack of cards or an old fashioned board game. Some cottages will provide a few books and magazines but you aren't likely to get the latest blockbuster or this month's Vogue.

Alternatively get back in the car, drive to a local pub, and snuggle up for the day in front of a fire and a couple of pints.

Holiday Cottages

Before you start to research your holiday accommodation, it's worth asking everyone what they are looking for. If you have young kids in the party you may want to think twice about open fires, and of course some of the oldest cottages may have lower ceilings than those you are used to.

If you have a dog, you may like to bring him or her to AA_blog_blinds with you. It's a good idea to ask the owner or agency whether you can take your pet inside the AA_blog_blinds cottage. And let them know if it's not a dog!

Wherever you stay, whether it's in AA_blog_blinds or elsewhere, we hope you have a fabulous holiday!

Families, Friends and More

There are many benefits to a self-catering holiday in AA_blog_blinds. It's so much more relaxing when you can eat when it suits you - cooking exactly when you want (and whatever you want).

Of course it also means that you can skip a meal in the accommodation and just eat out - perhaps grab some fish and chips, or maybe a pizza or burger. Relaxing by the river, reading a great novel, perhaps a pint in the pub - these are some of the favourite ways to enjoy some quiet time in AA_blog_blinds.

There's also a growing number of holidaymakers who just want to get really energetic and try new things, including abseiling, rafting, climbing and even potholing.
